Effective August 01, 2026, the tariff fuel surcharge will be 41.55%. For customers with fixed rate pricing (volume discounts), the fuel surcharge will be 48.55%.

Effective July 25, 2026, the tariff fuel surcharge will be 39.30%. For customers with fixed rate pricing (volume discounts), the fuel surcharge will be 46.30%.

In the coming months, Loomis Express will introduce a new online Billing Centre designed to make billing management easier, more transparent, and more efficient for customers. The platform provides secure, self-serve access to billing information — all in one centralized location.

  • Access current and historical billing information
  • Generate customized billing and reporting insights
  • Search, filter, and track invoice status and balances

As part of our ongoing commitment to enhance service through feedback and suggestions from our customers and industry partners, we will be updating our Extended Area zone guide, effective April 3, 2026 including the addition of several new postal codes. Loomis Express will be implementing Demand Surcharges as of October 3rd. Further details will be posted closer to the date.
We are updating rates as of October 3, 2025. As a proudly Canadian owned company, Loomis Express is committed to providing enhanced partnership improvements in response to Canadian and international industry needs and suggestions. Updated rates and Terms and Conditions will be posted on this date.

Effective May 18, 2025, until further notice, a Residential Demand Surcharge of up to $2.50 per shipment may apply to customers that ship more than 1,500 residential shipments per business day or 7,500 residential shipments per week, in any week during the potential Canada Post service disruption.

This charge will apply only to volume that surpasses 100% growth over a customer’s weekly average of residential shipments as measured between week ending April 5, 2025, and week ending May 3, 2025, and where expressed written consent for the increase in residential shipments was not provided by Loomis Express. Once applied, the Residential Peak Surcharge will apply to the increase in residential shipments as determined by Loomis Express in its sole discretion.

During times of elevated volumes, high demand for capacity, and increased operating costs across our network, Loomis Express will implement Demand Surcharges formerly referred to as “Peak Surcharge” on page 9 of the Loomis Express Terms and Conditions of Service.

Demand Surcharges are determined based on regular assessments of shipment volume and capacity within our network to accommodate abnormal market conditions. Loomis Express reserves the right to reassess and/or reinstate Demand Surcharges during times of elevated volumes, high demand for capacity, and increased operating costs across our network at its sole discretion.

Effective April 15th, Loomis Express will be applying a fee on professional and administrative services. These will include, but not limited to, Invoicing adjustments deemed to be the result of customer errors and technical resources beyond the support of Loomis owned shipping systems. Fee may also apply to operational services provided outside of the scope of our normal operations.

Effective February 3, 2023, pickup locations serviced by the Boucherville terminal will be charged a weekly pickup of $7.50 or a daily pickup fee of $2.75, depending on service requirements. The fee is due to the impact of the extensive long-term construction on the Lafontaine Tunnel.

We are launching a new and improved WebShip designed to enhance the experience of using online shipping services by Loomis Express by making it easier, more intuitive, and integrated to work seamlessly for your business!

The new WebShip will be launched in two phases:

Phase 1: Guest Portal - Launched in 2023.

Phase 2: Business Portal - Launching in Q2 2024. You can now ship your packages with fewer clicks and more features, plus a seamlessly integrated shipping experience.

Key features include:

  • Marketplace plugins to automatically import your online orders.
  • Ability to use your Loomis Express account with customized discounts.
  • Access to Loomis Express and other TFI International Transportation solutions.
  • All your orders, activity, and history on a single online platform for complete automation, control, and real-time visibility.
